Release/consent/acknowledgment/assumption of risk: We (I) understand that camp life and activities have inherent risks including those of accidents, injury and even possibly death. Every conceivable effort is made by King's Camp to protect each camper's health and safety through training of staff, constant inspection of equipment, and instruction of campers. Counselors are fallible but they often have years of experience and usually go through a significant amount of training in First Aid, C.P.R. and skills. Activities include high ropes course, archery, horseback riding, canoeing, swimming, field sports, games, camp life, sleeping in a dormitory, etc; all of which have inherent risks. Various inherent risks include acts of nature, fire, hail, lightning, insect stings, snake bites, animal contact, falling from horses, stairs, high ropes course, etc., as well as water related accidents or automobile/bike/ATV accidents and more. To the extent allowed by law, we the undersigned waive, release, forever discharge and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Christian Life Fellowship dba King's Camp and/or its agents and/or employees from all rights and claims for damages, injury or loss to person or property which may be sustained or occur on or off the property during my child's stay at camp. In addition, the camp cannot be responsible for a minor who leaves camp without permission. We further acknowledge that we will give, before camp, full disclosure of any preexisting physical or psychological conditions, challenges or problems, which the child has. Any conditions must be accompanied by a doctor's statement regarding the camper's ability to participate. Furthermore, we (I) assume the responsibility for any necessary medical attention for the camper due to accident or illness during camp.
Campers may have a special emphasis choice, which will be in the area of missions and ministry for hands-on application of what is learned at camp. These activities will be off of the campground. By agreeing below you are giving permission for your child to leave the campground in transportation provided by the camp to participate in these missions and ministry activities.
We (I) understand that King's Camp does not assume the responsibility for loss of personal belongings of campers by fire, theft, natural disasters, or camper's carelessness.
My child and we (I) understand he/she may be sent home for inappropriate behavior at the Director's discretion with no tuition refunded.
We (I) hereby give my permission to use my child's name and picture and to publish them without debts or liabilities to King's Camp of any kind.
We (I) hereby give permission for my child to receive emergency medical treatment from a physician and/or hospital.
We (I) have read and understand this entire application and agree to the terms and policies written herein.
